POSITION: BARTENDER
BRIEF OVERVIEW
Blue Barn Cidery seeking a motivated team member who has the skills and drives to assist in the success of our growing Tasting Room in Hilton, NY. Candidates must be hard-working, and be able to handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for pouring drinks/mixing cocktails, taking food orders, communicating with customers, maintaining a clean bar space, and working as a member of a team. This position requires a self-motivated and disciplined individual who is focused on helping the team succeed with a positive attitude.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and be committed to the success of the team as a whole

Preference is given to candidates with prior experience in the bar/restaurant industry

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Must be at least 21 years old
SALARY & HOURS

Server minimum + tips

This is a FULL-TIME position (40 hours per week) Wednesday through Sunday with benefits available
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Pouring drafts/wines/sodas; mixing cocktails; guiding customers through flavor profiles

Taking food orders and answering menu questions

Strong communication skills, must be able to have conversations with customers

Able to work in a fast-paced environment on your feet
