POSITION: DISHWASHER
BRIEF OVERVIEW
Blue Barn Cidery seeking a motivated team member who has the skills and drive to assist in the success of our growing Tasting Room in Hilton, NY. Candidates must be hard-working, and be able to handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for maintaining clean dishes, cooking implements, and cooking spaces to support the kitchen team. This position requires a self-motivated and disciplined individual who is focused on helping the team succeed with a positive attitude.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Must be punctual (show up for work on time as scheduled)

Have a positive attitude and be committed to the success of the team as a whole

Preference is given to candidates with prior experience

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Must be 17 years old or older with a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
SALARY & HOURS

$16.50/hour

Must be available Fridays 4:00 pm-10:00 pm, Saturdays 2:00 pm-10:00 pm, Sundays 12:00 pm-5:00 pm
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up and close down the dishwashing area
-
Wash and put away dishes
-
Maintain a clean and safe work area, including helping the kitchen team clean the cooking and prep spaces at end of day

Maintain organization of dishes and inventory

Handle daily tasks including sweeping, mopping, garbage, recycling, compost
