POSITION: DISHWASHER 

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Blue Barn Cidery seeking a motivated team member who has the skills and drive to assist in the success of our growing Tasting Room in Hilton, NY. Candidates must be hard-working, and be able to handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for maintaining clean dishes, cooking implements, and cooking spaces to support the kitchen team. This position requires a self-motivated and disciplined individual who is focused on helping the team succeed with a positive attitude.
 
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be punctual (show up for work on time as scheduled)
  • Have a positive attitude and be committed to the success of the team as a whole
  • Preference is given to candidates with prior experience
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be 17 years old or older with a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
 
SALARY & HOURS
  • $16.50/hour
  • Employee discount on all purchases
  • Must be available Fridays 4:00 pm-10:00 pm, Saturdays 2:00 pm-10:00 pm, Sundays 12:00 pm-5:00 pm
 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and close down the dishwashing area
  • Wash and put away dishes
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including helping the kitchen team clean the cooking and prep spaces at end of day
  • Maintain organization of dishes and inventory
  • Handle daily tasks including sweeping, mopping, garbage, recycling, compost
