Brief Overview

Blue Barn Cidery seeking a motivated team member who has the skills and drives to assist in the success of our growing Tasting Room in Hilton, NY. Candidates must be hard-working, and be able to handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for cleaning tables, operating dish machines, restocking barware, communicating with customers, and working as a member of a team. This position requires a self-motivated and disciplined individual who is focused on helping the team succeed with a positive attitude.

Skills & Qualifications 
  • Must be punctual (show up for work on time as scheduled)

  • Have a positive attitude and be committed to the success of the team as a whole

  • Preference is given to candidates with prior experience

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

  • Must be 16 years old or older with a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation

  • Must be able to work past 10:00 pm

Salary & Hours
  • $9.45/hour + tips

  • Employee discount on all purchases

  • Must be available 12-16 hours per week

  • MUST BE AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS

Position Responsibilities
  • Pre-bussing and bussing tables in the tasting room

  • Re-stock bar and provide bartender support

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including wash and putting away dishes

  • Strong communication skills, MUST be able to have conversations with customers while pre-bussing

  • Handle daily tasks including bussing, re-stocking, sweeping, mopping
