Blue Barn Cidery held its Grand Opening on October 7, 2017 featuring homegrown ciders, as well as other local ciders, beers, wines, and cocktails.

Blue Barn Cidery is a licensed Farm Winery that serves only products made with New York State-grown ingredients. We believe in buying locally. We believe in supporting family farms. We believe in knowing where your food comes from. We believe it's time the beverage industry adopted these values too.

2017-2022 The First 5 Years

Our first 5 years felt like a whirlwind of establishing the Cidery, and then quickly transitioning to building and opening Pomona for weddings & private events. Just as we started to get our footing, 2020 was upon us and thankfully we survived with support from our community. One big thing we learned was that we needed our cider in cans, so we relentlessly pursued canning and distribution for two years, growing our distribution presence throughout all of Western New York. You can now find Blue Barn at hundreds of local retailers!

2023-2027 The Next 5 Years

We've expanded on our can offerings, and now ship cider across the country! We love being able to share our product for those who don't live nearby - Cider Shop. We also continue to look for new ways to support our customers who are choosing to avoid alcohol and now offer non-alcoholic sparkling Jostaberry cider!
